Campaign Timeline

In March of last year Casteel decided to run for State Senate District 22.

I entered the race for House District 97 in April of 2025, which was an open seat, as the only Republican and was the only Republican in this race for 4 months.

In late August of 2025 Casteel dropped out of the State Senate race and entered this House race.

If I thought Casteel was a good state rep I would have worked something out with him when he came back into this race, since we are both Republicans. Unfortunately I do not believe he is representing the district well, and his failing conservative ratings and voting record above shows why.

In my strong opinion Casteel is not a conservative and is controlled by the special interests and lobbyist money in Jefferson City.
